I have made a New Year's resolution or committed myself at other times of the year in what felt like new resolve, to start a blog at least 10 times in the past few years. I journal almost daily as it is, but I like to write with a pen and paper. Old-school. But, my life is not old school anymore....my kids can barely read my writing because cursive penmanship is introduced in 3rd grade and left to die there. Their homework includes websites where they improve their keyboarding skills and spell check is done without them even noticing. I also cannot insert photos into my 4X6 bedside journal so instead of letting them collect more "dust" in their 7-year old cyber chamber, I thought I'd bring them to life here. Because at the end of the day, I strongly believe my children need a record of their lives. So here we go ready or not......

SO EXCITED!!!!!! I really think you're going to love blogging. And your kids are going to love looking to see what you blogged about. It's a great way to capture those "moments" you never want to forget.
