Summer Buzz

The hair grew long this year because I just stopped caring as much about it. They'd fuss way to much when I brought up getting it cut, or they'd cash in their "grow your hair out for an extra 1-2 months" coupon from Valentines Day. So I let it go and for the first time they asked me to cut their hair, which meant a buzz because it's the only decent cut I know how to give. I LOVE the buzz cuts of summer! I love giving them: the immediate results are so satisfying, the way their heads feel under the brush of my hand, and really they way they look. The before and after shots are awesome! We are nearly a month into school now so the hair is taking on all sorts of new looks especially from Caleb and Liam who seem to experiment with a new do every few days! But, they have both asked again for a little trim, so for now the long hair days may be behind us!

Poor Gavin, his hair grows so slowly, I actually hesitated with cutting his as this was nearly a years worth of growth and it looks really good. He was insistent though because it meant he wouldn't have to wear a swim cap to practice. Everyone has their reasons ;)
